Ming-Na Wen

Ming-Na WenĀ (Chinese:Ā ęŗ«ęåØ; born November 20, 1963)Ā is an AmericanĀ actress and model. She has won multiple awards throughout her career, including anĀ Annie AwardĀ and aĀ Saturn Award, in addition to a Ā Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. She was honoured as aĀ Disney LegendĀ in 2019 and a star on theĀ Hollywood Walk of FameĀ in 2023.
Wen's breakthrough role was as June Woo inĀ The Joy Luck ClubĀ (1993). Other early successes include the role ofĀ Dr Jing-Mei "Deb" ChenĀ in the medical drama seriesĀ ERĀ (1995ā2004) and her voice role asĀ Fa MulanĀ in theĀ Walt Disney Animated Classic Mulan, as well as its sequelĀ Mulan II, several video games and guest appearances in TV shows such asĀ Sofia the First. Additionally, Wen made a cameo appearance in the live-action remake ofĀ MulanĀ (2020).
Wen is well-known for playing agentĀ Melinda May in theĀ MarvelĀ seriesĀ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.Ā (2013ā2020) and has also appeared in theĀ Star Wars franchise as the bounty hunterĀ Fennec Shand, appearing inĀ The MandalorianĀ (2019ā2020)Ā Star Wars: The Bad BatchĀ (2021, 2024), andĀ The Book of Boba FettĀ (2021ā2022). Other notable roles include Ā Chun-LiĀ inĀ Street FighterĀ (1994),Ā Detective Ellen YinĀ inĀ The BatmanĀ (2004ā2005), andĀ Camile WrayĀ inĀ Stargate UniverseĀ (2009ā2011).
