Mi-Jung Lee (September 12, 1966, in Chuncheon, South Korea) is a Korean-Canadian television journalist and news anchor based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She began her career in 1990 as a reporter and part-time news anchor at CHEK-TV in Victoria before moving to CHAN-TV (BCTV, later CTV Vancouver) in 1992. In 1998, she became co-anchor of the 6:00 PM news on CIVT-TV (then VTV). Later, she took over hosting and producing the 11:30 PM news on CTV Vancouver. Lee has appeared in several films and TV shows as a news anchor or reporter, including The 6th Day (2000), X-Men 2 (2003), Snakes on a Plane (2006), Watchmen (2009), and Tron: Legacy (2010). In addition to her journalism career, she is known for her investigative reporting, winning several RTDNA and Webster Awards for her coverage of topics such as Vancouverโ€™s opioid crisis and sexual harassment allegations at WestJet. Lee lives in Vancouver with her husband and two sons.
